Los New York Yankees retiraron del juego al jardinero Aaron Judge en apenas la cuarta entrada del primer juego de la serie ante Rangers de Texas. Aún no se detallan las razones por las que fue sacado del juego.
Luego de poncharse en los dos primeros turnos de la noche, Aaron Judge fue removido del jardin central y reemplazado por el venezolano Oswaldo Cabrera.
Cabe destacar que en el ultimo juego de los Yankees vs Twins de Minnesota, Judge se deslizó mal un intento de robarse la tercera base, su cuerpo quedó encima de sus dos muñecas y luego se vio un poco adolorido al momento de dirigirse al dugout. Judge fue puesto out por el receptor Christian Vasquez.
Luego de la victoria de los Yankees 3-2 sobre los Rangers, Aaron Boone reveló que Judge estaría fuera por los próximos dias. No se espera que dure un tiempo en la lista de lesionados.
Aunque no fue removido del juego e incluso disparó un sencillo después de ese incidente, el capitán aún mostraba signos de incomodidad y dolor en diferentes ocasiones. Es muy probable que queden secuelas de ese mal deslizamiento y tengan que evaluarlo mas de cerca.
No se descarta que Aaron Boone decidiera darle un poco mas de descanso a Judge, quien aún no se ha perdido mas de dos juegos seguidos en lo que va de la temporada.

determined that professional status is achieved through education, self-imposed standards
and professional gate-keeping organizations.[18] Having achieved this, design became an acknowledged
profession.
